Gopal Prasad has an experience of more than 1.5 decades in the music world as a flutist. He has to his credit imparting divine Hindustani Classical Music to many students under the "Guru-Shishya Parampara" method adopted as per Maihar Gharana.

He has composed some mesmerizing music for Indian commercial movies. Singing stars including Alka Yagnik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sadhana sargam have lent their voices to his music direction for film released by T-Series & other company. Kailash Kher and Richa Sharma have also sung for his album music compositions.
